Terms and conditions of contract
- To rent a boat from Thassos Island Boats the charterer must be over 23 years old. Proof of identification must be shown before departure.
- We reserve the right to refuse the renting of the vessel if communication between staff and customer exists. The charterer must be able to understand the briefing on the safe operation of the boat and understand the rental agreement.
- A mobile telephone must be open and working at all times.
- No license is required on a rental boat with the engine power of 30hp
- All the boats are insured as to third parties.
- Names and passport numbers are noted on the rental contract. It is forbidden to add more people to the boat than originally agreed upon. This is a passenger maximum set
by the boat manufacturer. The passenger maximum varies from boat to boat.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early at the departure point. Extra time will not be given for late arrivals. If half an hour passes the company will presume a no-show and re-book the boat. The deposit will not be returned.
- Please check the petrol tank before your departure as your fuel consumption will be charged upon your return.
- Damages to the boat and engine are the charterers responsibility therefore we recommend the charterer to check the boat and engine/propeller before departure. All damages will be charged with the market price at the time for repair or replacement.
- In case of rough weather and the boat is prohibited from leaving the departure point by the port authorities, the booking payment will be refunded or the booking is transferred to the next available day.
- In case of loss of personal belongings during the rental time, Thassos Island Boats bares no responsibility.
- If the boat is returned late a compensation of 100e per hour must paid by the charterer. Remember, another customer is waiting to enjoy their adventure too!!
